First of all I just wanted to say welcome to the first ever TLJ blog!
I’ve so much to talk about and I’m just so excited to be able to start sharing them with you, focusing mainly on fashion and style but every now and again there’ll be something a little out there. In some ways this is kind of a look into my own personal headspace, so yeah, keep an eye out every Monday at 6, as there’ll be a little something waiting for you :)
Now that’s out of the way, a little about this business and blog. The Little Jewelers is run top to bottom by me, and although the store isn’t live yet, I plan on bringing you the best and most stylish pieces from around the world. That’s a little bit down the line, and when the store is closer to launch you’ll hear all about that. This blog however, is a little bit more all over the place. This is where you’ll really get to know me. I’ll be posting behind the scenes stories, documenting the journey, and also posting style guides and talking about fashion as a whole. I want this blog to really be a chance to look at the person - and hopefully down the line persons - who make this business tick.
I also thought it was really important to briefly touch upon my own personal philosophy and by extension the philosophy behind the business:
Being a one-man band is hard work, but it’s not something I shy away from. I have an intense, bordering on obsessive work ethic and I use that to make sure I get things done.
LEARN TO BE THE BEST
It is my belief that, to be the best and stay there, you’ve constantly got to be learning, and that hunger and desire to be the best continuously pushes me to learn
The world of today changes faster than ever, nowhere is that truer than the world of fashion and as such it's imperative to evolve and adapt with it.
Never be afraid to do things differently. Everyone will tell you that the way to success is to take the path well trodden, but there is so much value in treading your own path to success.
Anyways, I think that’s enough from me today, I just wanted to sign off and say, this is the start of something really special and I’m really happy to have you alongside.
CEO, Founder and just about everything else for The Little Jewelers :)
